| Under the background of curriculum reform,although the PE teaching mode has been reformed and innovated,the traditional PE teaching mode is still the main one at present.This seriously hinders the development of students’ core accomplishment.While combing the relevant literature,the author found that the large unit teaching mode meets the requirements of the current physical education reform.Therefore,this study adopts the large unit teaching model to verify whether the large unit teaching model is more conducive to improving students’ table tennis learning effect and core accomplishment.It provides a reference for the reform of physical education.In this study,literature,questionnaire,expert interviews,data statistics,Dushan Xingnong High School students of grade one as the experimental subjects,30 students per class,a class as the control class,using traditional sports teaching mode,a class as the experimental class,using large unit teaching mode.And 18 weeks of teaching.Before and after the experiment,the two groups of students were tested with physical fitness,table tennis technology,sports learning interest,affective performance and cooperation spirit.The aim is to explore the effect of the two teaching models on students’ learning.The results showed:(1)physical fitness: there was no significant difference between the experimental group and the control group in the items of 50 m running,standing long jump and sitting body forward bends(P > 0.05);(2)interest in physical education: there was significant difference between the experimental group and the control group in the items of negative interest,active interest,autonomy and inquiry learning,and degree of sports participation(P < 0.05),but there was no significant difference in the sports concern(P > 0.05);(3)affective expression and cooperative spirit: there was significant difference between the experimental group and the control group in the items of affective expression and cooperative spirit(P <0.05)(4)ping-pong technique: there was significant difference between the post-experimental group and the control group in the items of forehand attack and backhand push block(P < 0.01),but there was no significant difference in the items of backhand push block(P < 0.05).Thus the following conclusions can be drawn:(1)In terms of physical fitness,neither of the two teaching models plays a significant role in improving students’ physical fitness in the short term.(2)In terms of skills,compared with the traditional teaching mode,the large unit teaching mode can promote the improvement of students’ table tennis skills.(3)In terms of learning interest,compared with the traditional teaching mode,the large unit teaching mode can more arouse the enthusiasm and initiative of students and promote the improvement of learning interest.(4)In terms of emotional expression and cooperative spirit,compared with the traditional teaching mode,the large unit teaching mode plays an active role in promoting the development of emotional expression and cooperative spirit of students. |
