| With the promulgation of the 2022 edition of the "curriculum Standards for physical education and Health in compulsory education",a new round of teaching reform in physical education and health courses will begin at a new starting point.The professional development of junior high school physical education teachers is an internal and external process of improvement,including professional knowledge and skills,as well as emotions,attitudes,motivation,and professional development awareness.The new curriculum standard mentions that the professional development of junior high school physical education teachers is crucial for students’ physical health and quality education.Similarly,the professional development of physical education teachers in Decheng District,Dezhou City,Shandong Province also determines the overall quality and effectiveness of junior high school physical education teaching in this area.In order to promote the professional development of junior high school physical education teachers in Decheng District,Dezhou City,Shandong Province,this study aims to investigate the practical problems and needs of the professional development of junior high school physical education teachers in Decheng District,as well as the factors that affect the professional development of junior high school physical education teachers.The second purpose of this study is to propose corresponding optimization paths for the basic situation,current professional development status,and influencing factors of junior high school physical education teachers in Decheng District,Dezhou City,Shandong Province,based on the research of relevant theories on the professional development of physical education teachers.This paper uses literature,interviews,questionnaires,mathematical statistics,logical analysis and other research methods.The author first used the literature review method to analyze the development connotations and stages at home and abroad.Secondly,the author selected participants through random sampling.Among all potential participants,10 teachers ultimately participated in the reliability test of the questionnaire,182 teachers participated in the main research of the questionnaire,and 6 participants participated in the interview.Through data analysis of effective questionnaires and summary of interview results,it can be concluded that:(1)The age structure of the junior high school physical education teacher team in Decheng District,Dezhou City,Shandong Province is relatively reasonable,with young and middle-aged teachers as the main group and college or undergraduate education as the main education background.(2)There are phenomena in teachers’ educational beliefs,such as deviation in value recognition,insufficient sense of responsibility,and lack of professional dedication.teachers have a rich reserve of sports professional knowledge,good classroom organization ability and level,and relatively standardized demonstration of professional technical actions.However,their innovative and scientific research abilities in compiling teaching documents still need to be improved.The intrinsic driving force of teachers’ participation in scientific research is not high,and there is a certain gap in their professional development awareness.(3)The professional development of junior high school physical education teachers in this area is influenced by social,school,and personal factors.According to the literature review method,the author has identified four optimization paths for the above influencing factors through induction,summary,and other methods.They are:(1)Develop appropriate plans and strategies to promote the professional growth and development of physical education teachers;(2)Meet the needs of the times,innovate training methods,and create diversified educational models;(3)Enhance research capabilities and emphasize the importance of educational research;(4)Pay attention to career development planning and promote self-reflection.Suggest that future research should increase attention to the design of curriculum content and teaching methods for physical education teachers;Further focus on the development of teachers’ own professional plans;Develop a hierarchical system of professional standards for teachers;Pay attention to the professional abilities of teachers in the context of the new curriculum standards. |
