Research On The Influence Of Heterogeneous Human Capital On The Optimization Of Industrial Structure

As China’s economy moves from a stage of rapid growth to a stage of highquality development,the extensive and unbalanced growth model that used to focus on factor investment has become difficult to adapt to the new requirements of development.Innovation driven and structural optimization have gradually become the main theme of promoting economic development and transformation in the new era.This article focuses on the influencing factors of industrial structure optimization,and from the perspective of human capital heterogeneity,attempts to establish a theoretical framework for the impact of heterogeneous human capital on industrial structure optimization,clarify its impact path and effect on industrial structure optimization,explore the regional distribution characteristics and spatiotemporal evolution laws of the impact,in order to fill the gaps and deficiencies in relevant research,and promote high-quality economic development,Provide theoretical basis and practical experience for promoting the optimization of industrial structure.This article first analyzes and summarizes existing research by reviewing relevant literature.On the basis of summarizing relevant research results,it provides the connotation and concepts of heterogeneous human capital and industrial structure optimization,sorts out the theoretical basis of the impact of heterogeneous human capital on industrial structure optimization,and conducts theoretical mechanism analysis based on this.It constructs a theoretical framework for the impact of heterogeneous human capital on industrial structure optimization through technological innovation and consumption promotion,Proposed research hypotheses.Based on this,a measurement method for measuring heterogeneous human capital and industrial structure optimization is proposed.At the same time,based on relevant data from 30 provinces in China,the level of heterogeneous human capital and the degree of industrial structure optimization in each province are measured and displayed,and the current situation and spatiotemporal evolution characteristics are analyzed.Finally,based on the theoretical mechanism analysis and measurement results of the previous article,and taking the inter provincial panel data of 30 provinces,municipalities directly under the Central Government and autonomous regions in China excluding Tibet from 2001 to 2020 as the research sample,the paper constructs a dual fixed effect panel model and a dual mesomeric effect model for empirical testing,and based on the heterogeneity of resource endowments and economic development stages of China’s provinces,Explored the spatial distribution characteristics and temporal evolution patterns of the impact of heterogeneous human capital on industrial structure optimization.Based on theoretical mechanism analysis and empirical analysis results,the main conclusions of this article are as follows: firstly,the degree of optimization of China’s industrial structure and the overall level of human capital have shown a trend of continuous improvement and deepening over the past 20 years,manifested as the level of heterogeneous human capital continuously increasing,while the level of homogeneous human capital gradually decreasing;The degree of industrial structure optimization continues to improve,and the level of rationalization and advancement has significantly increased.Secondly,both heterogeneous and homogeneous human capital can have a significant impact on the optimization of industrial structure,but the direction of their effects is completely opposite.Heterogeneous human capital can not only promote industrial structure optimization through direct effects,but also through indirect effects such as technological innovation and consumption;Homogeneous human capital mainly suppresses industrial structure optimization through direct effects.Finally,the impact and path of heterogeneous human capital on industrial structure optimization exhibit different characteristics in different regions and stages.This is manifested in the stage of rapid economic growth,where heterogeneous human capital mainly promotes industrial structure optimization through direct effects.In the stage of high-quality economic development,heterogeneous human capital mainly promotes industrial structure optimization through technological innovation effects.In terms of different resource endowments,heterogeneous human capital has a stronger promoting effect on industrial structure optimization in resource dependent provinces,while in non resource dependent provinces,the role of heterogeneous human capital in industrial structure optimization is weaker.Finally,based on the above conclusions,this article provides policy recommendations from four aspects: promoting the improvement of human capital level,optimizing education and training objectives,promoting the improvement of social technology innovation level,and increasing residents’ labor income level.
