With the gradual development of modern teaching,cooperative learning has become a common way of teaching in schools.in April 2022,the state introduced the Compulsory Education Arts Curriculum Standards(2022 Edition),which marks certain changes and developments in the educational philosophy,curriculum objectives,and teaching methods of music subjects,which also provide more possibilities for music teaching in the future.In order to let students have a better learning effect in music class,cooperative learning,as an important teaching method,is bound to undergo some changes along with it.Based on this,this paper conducts a study based on the theory of cooperative learning,using literature research method,questionnaire survey method,interview method and action research method to conduct a theoretical study of cooperative learning in middle school music teaching from the perspective of the new curriculum,and analyzes the changes of cooperative learning in the context of the new curriculum.By investigating the current situation of cooperative learning in the music classroom of X Middle School in Luoyang City,we grasped the application of cooperative learning in this school,selected suitable cooperative learning methods,found the shortcomings of using cooperative learning in the classroom,designed suitable teaching cases in combination with the educational concept of the new curriculum,and tried to implement the application in middle school music teaching.Finally,we reflected on the study and made several suggestions on the implementation of cooperative learning in middle school music teaching to provide feasible ideas and references for the use of cooperative learning in music teaching.This study is mainly divided into five parts.The first part mainly describes the reason of selecting the topic,the purpose and significance of the study,the research method,the innovation and the current situation of domestic and international research.The second part is about the theoretical overview of cooperative learning,including the definition of the concept of cooperative learning,the theoretical basis,the implementation strategy and the transformation characteristics of cooperative learning under the new curriculum.The third part is mainly to better understand the implementation of cooperative learning in music teaching in X middle school in Luoyang City under the new curriculum,investigate and analyze the current situation of music teaching in the school,and design a targeted teaching case with the actual situation,in order to better realize the implementation of cooperative learning in music teaching.The fourth part is the teaching practice on the application of cooperative learning in classroom teaching,designing teaching cases and teaching practice application from music appreciation class and singing class,post-class evaluation from self-evaluation,group mutual evaluation and teacher evaluation,and concluding that cooperative learning is effective for junior high school music classroom teaching according to the final results before and after the implementation of cooperative learning.The fifth part is the author’s reflections and suggestions on the practice of cooperative learning in junior high school music teaching.It is hoped that the research in this paper will provide some effective experiences for the development of cooperative learning in music classrooms in the future.
