The concept of human-land coordination is one of the core qualities of geography. It is the correct values that students uphold in the face of human-land relationship problems in life.Creating valuable teaching situations is of great significance for students to analyze geographical problems and establish the concept of human-land coordination. From the perspective of humanearth coordination, how to create a geography teaching situation is an important issue in geography teaching practice.Based on the analysis of the attributes of the concept of human-earth coordination, combined with the principles of teaching situation design, this paper develops a classroom observation scale, investigates the current relevant teaching situation, and then proposes a targeted teaching situation design strategy. The details are as follows :The first is to discuss the current status of domestic and international research on the development of a coordinated view of people and place and the situation of geography teaching by reading a large number of domestic and international scholars.Secondly,a conceptual definition of geography teaching situation and the human-earth coordination perspective is provided, and the theoretical basis of this study is introduced.Thirdly,it discusses the requirements of the basic attributes of the concept of human-earth harmony for the creation of teaching situation, focusing on the historical evolution of the concept of human-earth harmony, the three elements of the concept of human-earth harmony, such as "land to human","human to land" and "human-earth interaction",and the special attributes of the concept of human-earth harmony.Fourthly, according to the principles and types of teaching situation and the requirements of the development of the human-territorial coordination concept on the creation of teaching situation, the classroom observation scale was developed according to the level classification of the human-territorial coordination concept in the curriculum.Fifthly,we will screen lesson examples, analyze them, summarize the current situation of creating a situation for teaching high school geography based on a coordinated view of people and places, and analyze the influencing factors.Sixth, implementation strategies are proposed in response to the problems that arise and in relation to specific cases.Seventh, the chapter on Population is used as an example for teaching case design. The main conclusions of this paper are as follows: First, from the perspective of human-earth coordination, there are the following problems in the creation of geography teaching situation in high school:(1)The teaching situations are less concerned with the historical evolution of the human-earth perspective;(2)the teaching situations are less concerned with the element of humanearth interaction;(3)there are fewer experimental and academic contexts;(4)the principle of hierarchy is not reflected in the creation of teaching situation.Secondly,to address the problems, specific implementation strategies are proposed:(1)the analysis of the development history of the region should include changes in the human-earth perspective;(2)the creation of teaching situations should take full account of the element of "human-earth interaction";(3)the creation of more experimental and scientific teaching situations should be increased;(4)the creation of situations should reflect the hierarchical nature.
