Modern and contemporary prose is an important style of senior high school Chinese textbook,this should improve students’ aesthetic ability,to cultivate students’ Chinese accomplishment,but in the actual teaching process,the deviation of the text interpretation and teaching mode,resulting in modern and contemporary prose does not play its proper value.Therefore,we must adopt effective strategies to change the present situation of the modern and contemporary prose teaching in high school.Modern and contemporary prose writers have vivid and clear records,vivid images of scenery,incisive reasoning,vivid and meaningful language,fresh and graceful pictures,delicate and genuine emotions,suitable for close reading.Close reading is an important way to improve the present situation of the present and contemporary prose teaching in high school and to improve the effectiveness of modern and contemporary prose teaching.In this paper,the Anglo American new criticism close reading theory,Chinese ancient and China contemporary reading theory as guidance,effective strategy to explore the high school of contemporary prose text,summed up the Chinese curriculum in the context of "close reading" theory,combined with the specific text discusses the text reading strategy.The article is composed of four parts.The introduction part is to introduce the origin,research significance,literature review and theoretical basis of this paper.The first chapter analyzes the current situation of contemporary prose Teaching in senior high school,including the status of modern and contemporary prose in high school Chinese teaching,and the problems and reasons in modern and contemporary prose teaching.The second chapter introduces the general situation of the theory of close reading and the significance of the theory to the teaching of modern and contemporary prose in high school.The third chapter describes the application strategy of close reading theory in the contemporary prose teaching in high school,it includes reading the context,reading the language,reading the emotion,reading details,reading the structure;.The methods,such as reading,comparing,imaginingand contradictory,as well as detailed reading,thinking,product and comprehension,etc.It also analyzes the specific prose text in the textbook of high school.
