The 2022 edition of compulsory education geography curriculum standards regards the concept of human-earth coordination,comprehensive thinking,regional cognition and geographical practice as the core literacy to be cultivated in the geography curriculum of compulsory education.The concept of human-land coordination,comprehensive thinking,regional cognition and geographical practice are taken as the core qualities to be cultivated in geography curriculum in compulsory education stage,highlighting the educational value of geography curriculum.Among them,the concept of human-earth coordination is considered to be the most core value.Secondly,the curriculum standard also requires attention to the development and application of geography curriculum resources.Current news covers many contents such as domestic and international science and technology,culture,and disasters.It is close to the reality of students ’ life.It is applied to teaching to enhance the connection between theory and practice.At the same time,it can also supplement and deepen the geography textbooks appropriately.It is a good geography curriculum resource.Therefore,how to use current affairs news in geography teaching to cultivate students ’ concept of human-earth coordination is a question worth studying and thinking.Firstly,this paper uses the method of literature analysis to read and sort out the literature on the combination of current affairs news and the concept of human-earth coordination,define the relevant core concepts,summarize the relevant theoretical basis,and understand the first status of relevant research at home and abroad,so as to lay a foundation for further research.The questionnaire survey method was used to investigate teachers and students.This paper summarizes the detailed steps of constructing the current affairs news resource database,and puts forward the application strategy.The main conclusions of this paper are as follows : First,current news has attracted much attention and has certain teaching value for the application of geography teaching and the cultivation of students ’ view of human-earth coordination.Secondly,this paper summarizes the detailed steps of constructing the current affairs news resource library from the aspects of the access,collation and processing,and classification of current affairs news.In order to cultivate the concept of human-earth coordination of junior high school students,design teaching cases.Third,put forward the application strategy of current news in cultivating junior high school students ’ view of coordination between land and people.Including before class to excavate the relevant materials of the human-earth coordination view of the textbook,update and supplement the current news materials;classify current news based on the concept of human-earth coordination;guide students to pay attention to current affairs news and improve students ’ classroom participation.In the classroom teaching stage,“things” are used to guide lessons and create classroom situations;introducing news cases to explore the concept of human-land coordination;inspired by “things”,infiltrate the emotional education of human-earth coordination.Carry out practical activities in the after-school stage and implement the concept of human-earth coordination;establish a test question bank,connect the middle school entrance examination,etc.
