| The mental health of primary and secondary school students has long been the focus of attention of Chinese educational circles,which continuously strengthen the reform of mental health education curriculum in order to adapt to the psychological characteristics of students,improve the resilience of students and solve the mental illness of students.Whether mental health education curriculum can affect students’ mental resilience and improve their mental health level is the focus of this study.This study adopts the method of literature research,educational experiment and questionnaire survey,takes Xinjiang AHQ Middle School(ethnic minority school)as an example,carries out the pre-test and post-test on the mental resilience of the 7th grade ethnic minority students in Xinjiang AHQ Middle School,and designs the mental health education curriculum.To analyze the changes of mental resilience of minority students after a 12-week mental health education course.Study 1,"Adolescent Mental Resilience Scale" was used to test the seventh grade students in Xinjiang AHQ Middle School,and the current situation of the mental resilience of 15 classes in the seventh grade was analyzed.The results of the questionnaire showed that:(1)the average psychological resilience of the 7th grade minority students was 73.36.The mental resilience of the minority students is at the medium level from the whole and all dimensions.(2)There is no significant difference in the psychological resilience of ethnic minority students in grade 7 in the demographic variables such as gender,whether to live in school,parents’ marital status,parents’ parenting style,parents’ education level and so on.Study 2 explores the influence of mental health education curriculum on the mental resilience of ethnic minorities in grade 7.Class 2,5 and 6 of grade 7 were selected as the experimental group,and class 11,12 and 14 as the control group.The mental health education course was designed,and the ethnic minority students in the experimental group were given mental health education for 12 weeks.The experimental results showed that:(1)the overall mental resilience of the minority students in the experimental group was significantly higher than that of the control group.(2)Minority students in the experimental group were significantly higher than those in the control group in five dimensions of mental resilience: goal focus,emotional control,positive cognition,family support and interpersonal assistance.Accordingly,the conclusion of this study is:(1)The psychological resilience level of ethnic minority students is at a medium level.(2)There is no significant difference in the psychological resilience level of ethnic minority students in terms of gender,residence,parenting style and parental education level.(3)Mental health education can effectively promote and improve the level of mental resilience of minority students. |
