The core quality of Chinese subject is an important goal of Chinese teaching.Mastering a set of effective teaching methods will greatly help to achieve this goal.Text close reading has been introduced into the Chinese language industry with its advantages of flexibility and practicality,which has greatly promoted teaching practice in both teaching and learning.With the nationwide implementation of the unified edition of textbooks,the status of Chinese modern and contemporary novels in the unified edition of high school Chinese textbooks has significantly improved,both in terms of textbook writing trends and the attention of teachers and students.However,based on the current teaching situation,there are many problems in the teaching of Chinese modern and contemporary novels in high school Chinese.Therefore,under the guidance of the spirit of the curriculum standard,this paper further explores the application of text intensive reading to the teaching of Chinese modern and contemporary novels in senior high school,and proposes optimization strategies,with a view to improving the teaching situation of Chinese modern and contemporary novels in senior high school,so as to truly implement the core literacy of Chinese discipline into classroom teaching through text intensive reading.The paper is mainly composed of four parts,in addition to the introduction and conclusion.The introduction section mainly introduces the background and significance of the topic,analyzes the current research status,and based on this,explains the research ideas and methods of this article.The first chapter focuses on analyzing the theoretical basis of the application of text close reading in the teaching of Chinese modern and contemporary novels in high school Chinese language.We have defined the concept and analyzed the methods of text close reading from the perspective of Chinese language teaching,and analyzed the characteristics and teaching requirements of the unified edition of high school Chinese modern and contemporary novels,as well as the internal connection between the two.Chapter 2 analyzes the current situation and main problems of the application of text close reading in the teaching of Chinese modern and contemporary novels in high school Chinese language through a questionnaire survey:the content of text close reading is single,the ability is weak,and the process is chaotic;Interpreting the neglect of the student subject leads to an imbalance in the teacher-student relationship;The lack of detailed reading strategies in the text has led to difficulties in practical application.The third chapter focuses on exploring the optimization strategies of applying text close reading to the teaching of Chinese modern and contemporary novels in high school Chinese language.Firstly,combining close reading of the text with language construction,guiding students to understand the richness of Chinese meaning and the popularity and diversity of styles in modern and contemporary Chinese novel language;Secondly,combining close reading of texts with the development of thinking,we aim to comprehensively improve students’ thinking quality through comparison,multiple interpretations,and self justification;Once again,by combining text reading with novel aesthetics,we aim to cultivate students’ aesthetic abilities in the process of discovering the beauty of form,character,and emotion in modern and contemporary Chinese novels;Finally,combining close reading of the text with cultural inheritance can broaden students’ cultural horizons,absorb humanistic spirit,and inherit revolutionary culture.Chapter 4 is an actual teaching case study,taking the text reading of Lu Xun’s novel "Blessings" as an example,from teaching design to classroom implementation,and then to the summary and evaluation of teaching effectiveness,fully presenting the application and implementation of text reading in high school Chinese modern and contemporary novel teaching.
