Primary education is the most basic education that people need to accept in their life development.Most children from 6 to 12 years old are in this stage.It is the golden stage for children to form habits and also the critical period of education.Today’s primary education has attracted much attention from all walks of life,and the performance of class management directly affects the education quality and school-running efficiency of the whole school,which occupies a very important position in the school education work.This puts forward higher requirements for the head teacher of primary school,who should have educational wisdom and be able to take into account all aspects of the class,which is a severe challenge for the new head teacher.The focus of this study is the teacher who serves as the class teacher.Through the narration of the exploration and growth of the class management activities of a new class teacher,the difficulties and problems encountered in class management are analyzed and summarized,and then some suggestions are put forward,hoping to help the new class teacher to manage the class effectively in a short time.This study adopts the educational narrative research method,and selects a newly hired head teacher from D Primary School in Liaocheng City,Shandong Province as the research object.Through observation,interview and other methods to collect relevant data,timely record the story of her in the process of class management,found the research object’s problems in the process of class management,and witnessed her growth.This study is divided into four parts.The first part introduces the reason for the topic selection,the purpose and significance of the research,combs the collected domestic and foreign relevant literature,defines the core concepts,and introduces the research methods.In the second part,the class management process of the subjects in the past year was discussed in a narrative way,from the expectation and excitement before entering the class to the breakdown and confusion in the early stage as the head teacher,and then to the gradual growth through their own exploration and learning,and constantly improve their class management ability.The third part analyzes the class management of the research object.The fourth part puts forward corresponding suggestions for the problems existing in the class management process of the new homeroom teachers in primary schools.
