With the development of society and the influence of the new curriculum reform,the teaching of ancient poetry has been put forward new requirements in the actual teaching work.Situational teaching method has many advantages and has positive significance to the teaching of ancient poetry.The combination of the two methods also has the value of further study.At present,there are a lot of theoretical achievements in the application of situational teaching method in the field of primary school Chinese,but there are a lot less ancient poetry,and specific to a grade in primary school ancient poetry research is sporadic.According to the particularity of each stage in primary school,it is necessary to study a certain grade.After consulting relevant theoretical knowledge,the author took the fifth grade of s Primary School in Yuncheng City as an example and conducted the investigation through three aspects: questionnaire survey,teacher interview and classroom observation.After summarizing the results,it concludes that the main problems of the current situational teaching method in the fifth grade ancient poetry teaching are the lack of theoretical guidance in the use of situational teaching method,the few times of situational creation in the teaching process,the single opportunity,the lack of innovation of situational teaching method and the lack of situational teaching method to give full play to its value.According to the problems presented,the main reasons are analyzed in depth,including teachers’ teaching ideology and tradition,teachers’ lack of professional knowledge reserve,teachers’ inadequate preparation for lessons before class,teachers’ neglect of students’ main position in the teaching process,teachers’ neglect of reflection and summing up experience.In view of the problems and reasons,feasible improvement strategies are put forward,including changing ideas,taking students as the foundation,comprehensively improving teachers’ quality,innovating and flexible selection of teaching methods,fully preparing lessons,digging deep values,paying attention to reflection and summarizing experience.It is hoped that this study can provide guidance to the fifth grade teachers and make contributions to the teaching of ancient poetry.
