Employment intention is a series of expectations and expectations for the future work of an individual before the actual employment process begins,which can provide a steady stream of motivation for the individual’s subsequent career selection and is the goal of his follow-up efforts.Master of Education students should consider full personal and social needs when determining employment intentions.Among them,personal needs include material needs and spiritual needs;Social demand refers to the employment orientation of the national society for master’s degree students in education;The employment intention of master’s degree students in education should maintain a balance between material needs and spiritual needs;Individual needs and social needs should be aligned.In this study,the master’s degree students of Guangxi A,B and C universities were taken as the research objects,and the literature method,questionnaire survey method and interview method were used as the main research methods to investigate the employment intention and influencing factors of the master’s degree in education students in the three universities,in order to explore whether there is a deviation between the actual employment intention of the master of education students and the employment intention in the natural state.This includes the investigation of employment intentions in five aspects: industry intention,work unit nature intention,job type intention,work salary intention,and employment city intention,and then the degree of influence of the factors in the process of forming their employment intention.Through the survey,it is concluded that the current master’s degree in education students have excessive emphasis on the material needs of employment and neglect of spiritual feelings in their employment intentions.Excessive emphasis on the individual needs of employment and neglect of the bias of social needs.It is manifested as excessive pursuit of work salary,ignoring the spiritual feelings brought by the profession itself;excessive pursuit of job stability;low willingness to devote themselves to basic education;The awareness of dedication to rural grassroots education is weak;Employment willingness to travel to the western region is low.In terms of the influencing factors of the employment intention formation process,exploratory factor analysis was used to extract the influencing factors and divide them into six dimensions: employment preparation,employment expectation,family capital,personal emotion,school capital,and social environment.The average scores of each factor under each dimension were compared in turn,and the factors with higher influence were obtained such as career planning,job stability,family employment guidance,emotions of students’ origin,college employment guidance,and employment situation.According to the deviation of employment intention of master’s degree students in education and the degree of influence of various influencing factors in the formation process,the author proposes a guidance strategy for the formation of reasonable employment intention of master’s degree students from four aspects: positive guidance from the government,educational guidance from colleges and universities,companionship support from families,and subjective initiative of individuals.
