Scientific and technological innovation is the soul of a nation’s progress and the inexhaustible driving force for the development of national civilization.With China becoming a science and technology innovative country and comprehensively implementing the innovation-driven development strategy,this has created higher requirements for our researchers who need to be competent in science and technology innovation.The cultivation goal of professional master’s degree students is to be professional practice-oriented and apply high-level specialized talents who attach importance to professional practice and application,so the scientific and technological innovation ability of professional master’s degree students is the key core point of cultivation,however,good information literacy ability is needed to obtain relevant information,intelligence and data in scientific and technological innovation.This paper takes the professional master’s degree students studying in some colleges and universities in Guangxi area as the research object,through using SPSS 23.0 to conduct reliability analysis,descriptive statistical analysis and person correlation analysis on 733 questionnaires,to explore the significance of the influence of information literacy of professional master’s degree students on their scientific and technological innovation ability,so as to provide reference for the cultivation of scientific and technological innovation ability of professional master’s degree students in China The empirical analysis found that The empirical analysis found that: the four modules of information literacy of professional master’s degree students have a significant positive influence on their innovation consciousness in the science and technology innovation ability module;the four modules of information literacy of professional master’s degree students have a significant positive influence on their innovative thinking in the science and technology innovation ability module;the four modules of information literacy of professional master’s degree students have a significant positive influence on their learning ability in the science and technology innovation ability module;the four modules of information literacy of professional master’s degree students have a significant positive influence on their learning ability in the science and technology innovation ability module.The four modules of professional master’s degree students’ information literacy have a significant positive influence on their practice in the STI competency module;the four modules of professional master’s degree students’ information literacy have a significant positive influence on their personal results in the STI competency module only for the information dialectic competency module and the analysis and use of information competency module,and the use of big data software There is no positive influence on the personal outcomes in the STI competency module for the competency module on the use of big data software and the module on the use of information ethics and norms.Finally,countermeasures and suggestions are given from each of the four modules of information literacy in order to improve the STI ability of professional master students.
