The short hurdles technical movement is more coherent and the hurdles technical movement is more complex and demanding than sprinting,requiring athletes to ensure the stability of their centre of gravity and the effective control of their body posture during the competition training process.Core stability has a strong positive effect on the balance of the athlete and requires a high level of stability of the athlete’s own centre of gravity and control of the stability of the body posture.Core stability training is a training tool that can be used systematically to improve the core stability of the athlete and enhance the stability of the core muscles and the conduction of the motor muscle groups.This study investigates the effect of core stability training on the effectiveness of short straddle training,a method that is less commonly used in short straddle training,and finds that after strengthening the core stability training,the subjects’ short straddle performance and technical movements improve significantly compared to those before the trial.In this paper,the research methods such as literature method,expert interview method and experimental method are mainly dissected.In the study,the core stability training program was designed by combining the core stability training with the technical principles and kinematic rules of the short straddle project,and it was applied to the short straddle technical training process.After the 12-week intervention experiment,the technical evaluation of the short straddle performance and technical movements of the experimental subjects was conducted to analyze whether there was a corresponding change in the integrity and consistency of the technical movements and whether there was a significant increase in the special performance after the core stability training in the short straddle.The results are as follows.After 12 weeks of core stability training,the students in the experimental group outperformed the control group in terms of core quality,core stability,core explosive power and core endurance,with significant differences(P<0.05);the experimental group and the control group were found to have significant differences(P<0.05)in terms of technical assessment requirements in the short straddle test through comparative analysis;the following conclusions were drawn:(1)By comparing the core stability training of the experimental group with the traditional training test results of the control group,the core stability training was better than the traditional training,and the effect was significantly improved compared to the traditional training.From the short span results before and after the experiment,the results of the experimental group were better than those of the control group.A direct stimulating effect on the deep and superficial muscle layers,resistance training in the lateral position strengthens the core area and improves the resistance to torsion on the bar;(2)after the end of the experiment,the core stability training related test indexes change significantly higher than the control group,indicating that the core stability compared to traditional training methods can significantly improve the performance of short hurdles special.Core stability training can better capture the best sensitive stage of core speed,core strength,core agility and core endurance of secondary school students than traditional training;(3)Combining core stability training with strength training,core stability strength is not equivalent to traditional strength training;when core stability training is carried out for junior high school students,the exercise training load should be adjusted according to the physical condition of junior high school students,and the intensity and amount of the training load should be grasped to avoid injuries brought about during the exercise process;(4)The results of the 12-week core stability training experimental group showed that the use of core stability training increased students’ interest and motivation to practice,as well as improving their performance in specific areas.
