| Reading aloud,as a common form of teaching in language classrooms,has been favored throughout the history of education.Reading aloud develops not only students’ sense of language and oral expression,also help them further understand the text and improve their language literacy in language learning.It is an important way to realize the joint development of the instrumental and humanistic aspects of language subjects.Moreover,reading aloud which is as an activity of aesthetic inculcation can enhance students’ aesthetic experience and provide a platform for them to discover beauty,appreciate beauty,express and create beauty.Therefore,teachers in junior high school should recognize the aesthetic connotation and value of reading aloud teaching.Teachers should give play to the aesthetic function of reading aloud which aims to improve students’ aesthetic ability effectively.This study mainly includes two parts: theory and practice.The theoretical part starts from summarizing the requirements of reading aloud in the new curriculum and textbooks.The theoretical part mainly elaborates the aesthetic value and connotation of reading aloud teaching in junior high school.The practical part which based on the investigation of the current situation of reading aloud teaching in junior high school,summarizes the specific problems,causes of the lack of aesthetic education in reading aloud teaching in the classroom,and proposes teaching strategies to improve the effect of aesthetic education in the classroom.The main body of the paper contains the following five parts:Introduction: Firstly,we outline the reasons for choosing the topic from three aspects:historical origin,core literacy,and current teaching situation,to explain the research questions and core concepts as well as the theoretical bases.Secondly,we sort out the relevant domestic and international researches from both aesthetic education and reading aloud teaching.Finally,we outline the research objectives,pathways,and research methods of this topic.Chapter 2: Define the core concepts and explain the theoretical basis of the research,including the theory of aesthetic psychological elements and the theory of reading aloud aesthetics.Chapter 3: Firstly,we define the aesthetic requirements of reading aloud in the new curriculum.Secondly,we summarize the beauty of sound,rhythm,style and context in the teaching of reading aloud in junior high school.Finally,we outline the aesthetic value of reading aloud teaching that is the students’ emotion moves from perceiving beauty to appreciating beauty and then to creating beauty.Chapter 4: Firstly,summarize and analyze the data from students’ questionnaires and teachers’ interviews.Secondly,summarize the current situation of teaching reading aloud in junior high school language.Finally,outline the problems and causes in teaching reading aloud from the perspective of aesthetic education.Chapter 5: Starting from classroom problems,a series of strategies for implementing aesthetic education in junior high school language reading aloud teaching are discussed.It includes the accumulation of students’ aesthetic foundation,the improvement of aesthetic ability,and the teaching of reading aloud in the classroom. |
