| A number of survey data show that high school students are at the "bottom" of their adolescent mental health level(Zhao Xia,2022).This high-risk stage, facing the challenges of heavy academic pressure, interpersonal communication and family confusion, makes it a unique period in the life cycle.Family belief, family motivation and parents’ educational ability can form protective factors, which,as a unique superior resource, can help high school students better form resilience and actively cope with risks.Positive family beliefs can stimulate the benign development potential of young individuals, help families to obtain the ability of coordination and adaptation when facing risks, enhance mutual assistance and support among family members, and provide healthy and sustainable development momentum for families(Walsh,1999).The purpose of this paper is to study the influence mechanism of family beliefs on the resilience of senior high school students.Based on the interactive model of resilience and coping, under the guidance of the Strength Perspective theory, combined with the contextualized model of proactive coping, this paper constructs the theoretical framework of this study, and discusses the relationship among family belief, proactive coping style and resilience through qualitative and quantitative research methods, and draws the following conclusions:In the first study, the family belief scale based on grounded theory and empirical research has 14 items, including three dimensions: positive outlook, giving adversity meaning, transcendence and spirituality. After testing, the scale has good reliability and validity, and can be used as an effective tool to measure high school students’ family beliefs; In the second study,702 senior high school students were investigated by family belief scale, proactive coping style scale and adolescent resilience scale, and finally the following research results were obtained;1.The results of correlation analysis show that there is a significant positive correlation between family belief, proactive coping style and resilience.Among the sub-dimensions of family belief, positive outlook and family support have the strongest correlation; In the sub-dimension of proactive coping style, goal setting has the strongest correlation with goal concentration in the sub-dimension of resilience;2.Regression analysis shows that family beliefs and proactive coping styles can significantly positively predict resilience, among which giving adversity meaning(β=0.344,t = 5.700***)and coping styles(β=0.451,t = 8.022***)have the strongest predictive effects;3.The results of simple mediation effect test show that proactive coping style plays a partial mediation role between family beliefs and resilience, among which goal setting and proactive cognition and resilience play a partial mediation role;4.The difference test results show that there are significant differences in family beliefs, proactive coping styles and resilience in different family rearing styles and family economic conditions.Based on the above research results, this study puts forward constructive suggestions for improving adolescents’ resilience from three aspects: family education, school care and individual growth. |
