| In the current fast-developing society,teenagers are under more and more pressure in all aspects.In terms of academic pressure,under the national double reduction policy,the academic pressure has been reduced but there are still many teenagers facing greater academic pressure,which leads some teenagers to produce excessive emotions or even harm their own lives.The pressure from peer groups may come from parents or from teenagers themselves.Parents may indirectly or unintentionally put pressure on their children through various ways because their friends’children are good.Social pressure,in today’ s diversified and complex society,the development of the Internet allows adolescents to access diversified information,expands their cognitive space,and provides them with a platform to express themselves and obtain information,but also brings negative effects to them.These factors have affected adolescents’view of life and caused some adolescents’problems about life.With all these factors,the phenomenon of adolescent suicide has become a social problem that cannot be ignored.Suicide occurs in all regions of the world and throughout the life cycle.It is noteworthy that suicide is the second leading cause of death globally among young people aged fifteen to twenty-nine.Therefore,there is an urgent need to find a method that can effectively promote and educate children and adolescents to establish scientific values of life,so as to form a correct outlook on life and the world for students.In this paper,based on the research on adolescents’outlook on life,we found that life education in X elementary school lacks professionalism,comprehensiveness and permanence,and we learned that adolescents in X elementary school have a greater need for life education.’X Primary School is located in an urban elementary school in a county in Heze City,which has just built a new campus,and the school is well-equipped to provide space to support group activities.This paper focuses on the use of group work,one of the three direct methods of social work,to form a practical exploration of life education for adolescents.The first phase focuses on the understanding of life,including the creation of life,the meaning of life,and sex education;the second phase focuses on the education of self-protection,which is aimed at allowing adolescents to protect their lives in social situations.The level of group intervention involves changes in the consciousness,mentality,and actions of adolescents,which is more conducive to the promotion of life education.Therefore,this paper is devoted to the elementary school students,and explores the principles and strategies of group work intervention in life education for adolescents. |
