Educational punishment is an educational way for teachers to correct students’ violation of discipline,which has unique educational value.With the introduction of educational discipline policy,the issue of primary school teacher education has attracted extensive attention from all walks of life and become a hot topic of academic discussion.However,on the theoretical level,the scale and boundary of educational punishment should be further analyzed.In practice,despite the introduction of guiding policies,there are still multiple challenges in the educational punishment of primary school teachers.Therefore,it is of great theoretical value and practical significance to study the educational punishment of primary school teachers.This paper selected six primary schools in Yantai City for investigation.Taking new institutionalism theory,cognitive behavior theory and caring theory as the main theoretical basis,Comprehensive application of questionnaire,interview,observation methods.Based on the analysis framework of organizational management,cognition,implementation and reflection of educational punishment,after the implementation of the Rules on Education Punishment for Primary and Secondary Schools(Trial),this paper makes an in-depth analysis of the existing problems and causes of educational disciplinary rules for primary school teachers,and puts forward corresponding optimization strategies.Through the investigation and research,it is found that the main problems existing in the implementation of education punishment by primary school teachers are as follows: first,the cognitive problems of teacher education punishment,which mainly includes the incomplete understanding of the connotation of education punishment,the inaccurate understanding of the purpose of education punishment and the inadequate grasp of the laws and regulations of education punishment.The second problem is the implementation level of teacher education punishment,which mainly includes not strong awareness of punishment responsibility,inappropriate choice of punishment occasions,imprecise punishment methods,unreasonable punishment intensity and unsatisfactory punishment effect.The main reasons for these problems are: the operation of educational punishment rules needs to be enhanced,the organization and management mechanism of schools needs to be perfected,the actions and measures of teacher education punishment need to be improved,and the social support for teachers to implement educational punishment is weak.Based on the above analysis,the optimization strategies of educational punishment for primary school teachers mainly include: first,strengthening the operability of educational punishment laws and systems,including continuous improvement of educational punishment laws and regulations and strengthening school-based and refined school rules and disciplines.The second is to improve the school organization and management mechanism,which mainly includes the establishment of disciplinary supervision and appeal relief mechanism,expanding the opportunities for teachers to participate in education disciplinary training and the construction of diversified teacher evaluation mechanism.The third is to improve teachers’ educational punishment ability,which mainly includes consolidating the cognitive basis of teachers’ educational punishment,enhancing the innovation of teachers’ punishment methods,paying attention to the individual differences of students,and integrating the elements of education,punishment and reflection.The fourth is to create a supportive external environment for teachers to implement educational punishments,which mainly includes strengthening the publicity of educational punishments,improving the home-school cooperative education system and attaching importance to the guidance of media opinions. |
