The right to participation is a fundamental right of children.Children’s participation is the cornerstone of children’s learning and development,and an important indicator for evaluating the quality of early education.The current kindergarten group teaching activities are an important form of achieving educational goals,and children’s participation in group teaching activities has an important impact on children’s lifelong development.The study was conducted in large class B of Changchun City Garden A.The study was conducted using literature,interview,observation and case study methods,and non-participatory observation was conducted for 2 months.The results of the study showed that,in terms of participation mode,the older children were more involved in language and were able to use movement appropriately in teaching activities,in terms of participation content,the older children were able to solve problems through discussion but were less independent in terms of participation content and content creation,in terms of participation affective state,the older children were more active in teaching activities and their participation affective state was more closely related to their own experiences.In terms of participation level,children in the older classes had more opportunities to participate in group teaching activities,but the opportunities were uneven and influenced by teachers.The participation status of large class children in group teaching activities is influenced by traditional educational concepts and teachers’ own professionalism and expertise,by kindergarten teaching activity plans and activity room arrangements,and by parents’ education level and education style and parents’ work status.The main strategies to improve children’s participation in group teaching activities in kindergarten classes are: from the teachers’ side,teachers should change their educational concepts and improve their professional competence and professionalism.From the kindergarten side,kindergartens should create a good environment for children’s participation and provide an educational platform to escort the concept of children’s participation.From the parents’ side,parents should encourage children’s participation to expand their horizons and enrich their life experiences.From the social aspect,we should create a social atmosphere for children’s participation,implement the concept of children’s participation,and promote the development of children’s participation in all three parties.
