In the History Curriculum Standards for Compulsory Education issued in 2022,five core qualities of history discipline are proposed for the first time in the compulsory education stage,and local history resources have been attached great importance in the history curriculum standards over the years.Junior middle school students can learn historical knowledge from the rich and diverse local history resources,which stimulates their strong interest in history and cultivates their profound understanding of the feelings of home and country,which can be used as the material of history teaching.The abundant local history resources in Qingdao provide sufficient resources for the teaching of local history.This paper takes Qingdao’s local history resources as the main research object,which is divided into four parts: the introduction part defines the concepts of local history resources and the feelings of home and country through the review of domestic and foreign studies,and elaborates the connotation of this paper on the feelings of home and country through the classification of local history resources in Ming dynasty.The first section mainly analyzes the content,characteristics and value of the local history resources of Qingdao through the field investigation method.At the same time,it uses the questionnaire method to understand the problems existing in the teaching of local history resources and puts forward targeted solutions.The second section is the teaching principles of local history,including the application principles,theoretical support and teaching strategies of local history resources.The third section is the teaching practice.Through a complete teaching design of the lesson of The May Fourth Movement,it reflects the role of local history resources in history teaching,and reflects the educational purpose of cultivating virtues and cultivating people,so as to achieve the goal of cultivating students’ core qualities such as feelings of home and country.
