Since the 18 th National Congress of the Communist Party of China(CPC),the CPC Central Committee with Comrade Xi Jinping as the core has attached great importance to the inheritance and development of fine traditional Chinese culture,advocating the integration of traditional culture into education at all levels to establish cultural confidence and promote national spirit.Middle school is an important stage for students to establish correct outlook on life,values and sense of national honor and disgrace,and also an important way to enhance cultural confidence of teenagers.As the country raises the importance of fine traditional Chinese culture,it is often used as teaching elements in literature subjects,and even in science teaching,traditional cultural elements are gradually incorporated.In chemistry discipline,chemical related verses,classics,traditional skills are usually regarded as the teaching elements to conducts research in chemistry teaching.However,it is found that the strategy of research is relatively simple,the most used method is to collect a large number of traditional cultures,then build a chemical-related traditional culture library,and make a simple description of the traditional culture.But there is no profound analysis to its connotation,and is less connected with cultural inheritance and development,failing to play a key role in the nurturing function of traditional culture.In view of this phenomenon,this paper takes the traditional chemical process in traditional culture as an example to explore how to organically integrate the traditional chemical process into chemistry teaching through literature research,questionnaire survey,interview survey,case teaching,and other research methods.The main research contents are as follows :(1)Grasping the current research trend of combining traditional culture in chemistry teaching with literatures;(2)Summarizing the traditional chemical processes that students are familiar with and the chemical principles of it refer to ancient books,then discussing the moral education role of the process;(3)Carrying out a research on the infiltration of traditional culture and traditional chemical technology into chemistry class,investigating the students’ cognition and attitude towards traditional chemical technology;(4)Based on the analysis of the results of the research,the traditional chemical process into chemistry teaching should follow the five principles,which is in particular principle,scientific principle,educative principle,dialectical principle,and pertinence principle,besides,four teaching strategies,which is "treat it as an element,carrying the teaching situation","grasping the conditions,highlighting the local characteristics","class standard,as exercise carrier ","enhancing interest,setting up school-based courses."Under the guidance of the above teaching principles and teaching strategies,the author tried to integrate the traditional chemical process into the chemistry class of senior one,followed by carrying out practical teaching,and conducted after-class interviews with students to get feedback of teaching.It is found that the students showed a strong interest in the traditional chemical process,and the classroom efficiency was significantly improved,which enhanced the students’ national pride and enabled them to deeply understand the development of ancient chemistry.It can be seen that taking traditional technology as the knowledge carrier in the teaching process can not only enhance students’ national pride,but also stimulate their learning interests,and let students to understand ancient chemical technology from a more scientific and dialectical perspective.
