With the continuous advancement of the urbanization process,people’s aesthetic appreciation of the traditional regional residential architectural culture is gradually diluted.Yongzhou Zhoujia Courtyard is the most characteristic residential building in Lingling District,Yongzhou City,Hunan Province,where the author is located.Its architectural structure,decorative patterns and humanistic spirit are very regional characteristics.Yongzhou No.1 Middle School is the only provincial demonstration high school in Lingling District.The students’ overall artistic accomplishment is good,and the school is very supportive of the development of local curriculum resources.Based on this background,Yongzhou compound as a local high school art curriculum resources development and utilization,fully excavate the structure beauty,decorative beauty and humanistic beauty,development with local characteristics of high school art curriculum,to help high school students better understand the local residential building culture and promote art core accomplishment,is a very necessary and meaningful research.This paper takes Yongzhou Zhou Family courtyard as the local high school art curriculum resources development as the research topic,the main content has five parts.The first part discusses the historical development process of Yongzhou Zhou Family Courtyard based on the literature research method and entity investigation,and expounds the artistic characteristics and cultural connotation of Yongzhou Zhou Family Courtyard from three aspects of structural beauty,decorative beauty and humanistic beauty.The second part mainly to the understanding of the local traditional folk culture,ancient architectural culture protection and inheritance and promote students’ comprehensive practice ability and innovation ability and so on three aspects discusses the Yongzhou compound as a local high school the significance of art resources development,and through on-the-spot investigation and questionnaire survey two ways analyzed the Yongzhou compound as a local high school art curriculum resources development feasibility.The third part discusses the Yongzhou compound as a local high school art curriculum resources development strategy,from the aid of literature research of history and culture,through on-the-spot investigation know zhou compound art characteristics,pay attention to the ancient city development to explore zhou compound innovation elements,combining students’ interest design rich variety of art courses in four aspects.Through different ways and ways,the curriculum resources of Yongzhou Zhou Family courtyard are explored in various directions.The fourth part aims to improve the five core art qualities of high school students,and shows the corresponding teaching practice and teaching results respectively based on "image reading","art performance","aesthetic judgment","creative practice" and "cultural understanding".The fifth part mainly expounds the influence of the teaching practice of the series of courses on the local students and the effect of using the art classes in the local high schools.
