The construction of "double first-class" is an important engine to promote the internal development of higher education in China.As an important part of the "double first-class"construction,discipline construction is an important driving force for the modernization of China’s education,and has received attention from many parties in academia and society.As discipline construction is a complex and systematic task,the formation of a mature discipline construction mechanism and the leapfrog development of the discipline of education at the University of M are inseparable from the participation of multiple forces and the teamwork and collaboration of the academic community of education at the University of M.Based on this,this study takes the theory of academic community as the theoretical foundation,conducts semi-structured interviews with relevant teachers involved in the construction of the discipline of education at the University of M through the interview method,and analyses the texts of national policies,university policies and college systems that are related to the development of the discipline of education at the University of M through the text analysis method,and explores that the mechanism of the construction of the discipline of education at the University of M consists of the decision-making mechanism,the operation mechanism,the guarantee mechanism and the evaluation mechanism.The four mechanisms are coupled and interact with each other to promote the development of the discipline.The decision-making mechanism is the first mechanism of the discipline construction mechanism,which is the action framework of the discipline construction,covering the decision-making basis,decision-making content and decision-making procedures.In the decision-making mechanism of discipline construction,the academic community of education at the University of M unifies ideas,gathers consensus and prepares documents such as discipline construction plans,which provide basic guidelines for the specific work of discipline construction.The operation mechanism is the core mechanism of the discipline construction mechanism,which is the concrete implementation of the discipline construction,covering the mechanism of talent cultivation,scientific research and social service.In the operation mechanism of discipline construction,the academic community of pedagogy at the University of M has its own role to play,contributing to the cultivation of talents,scientific research and social services.The guarantee mechanism is the condition mechanism of the discipline construction mechanism,which is the resource supply of the discipline construction,covering the grassroots organization,the faculty and the discipline construction resources.In the guarantee mechanism of discipline construction,the academic community of pedagogy at University of M focuses on collaborative development and strengthens resource integration to provide sustainable resource support for discipline construction.The evaluation mechanism is the supervision mechanism of the discipline construction mechanism and the motivation for improvement of the discipline construction,covering the external evaluation mechanism and the internal monitoring mechanism.In the evaluation mechanism of discipline construction,the academic community of pedagogy at the University of M is filled with a sense of identification with the construction of the discipline of pedagogy and jointly supports the high-quality development of the discipline construction.This study combines the specific mechanisms of discipline construction and summarises the experience of the discipline construction of pedagogy at the University of M into four levels.The first is the decision-making mechanism,which makes scientific and rational decisions and emphasises goal orientation;the second is the operational mechanism,which clarifies the characteristics of the discipline and strengthens communication and collaboration;the third is the guarantee mechanism,which enriches the disciplinary platform and expands the disciplinary resources;and the fourth is the evaluation mechanism,which adheres to the priority of quality and serves realistic needs.A multi-pronged approach to improve and perfect the discipline construction mechanism.In the final analysis,an academic community with an international perspective,excellent structure and vitality is crucial to promoting the high-quality development of discipline construction and enhancing the overall level of discipline construction.
