In recent years, the development of China’s manufacturing industry has encountered bottlenecks.Innovative user needs,all-round market competition and high-quality economic development goals are leading manufacturing enterprises to start a second business.Under the background of "dual circulation" economic development, the manufacturing industry has ushered in new opportunities for development with supply-side structural reform as the main line, setting off a second wave of entrepreneurship.Secondary entrepreneurship is an important way for the sustainable development of manufacturing enterprises. In this process, how to develop new growth points while maintaining the original competitive advantage is an unavoidable problem for enterprises to start a second business, and it is also a hot spot of current academic circles and government and enterprises. From the perspective of the behavior difference of the second entrepreneurship of manufacturing enterprises, based on the resource-based theory, the duality theory and the Strategic Entrepreneurship theory, the "resource-behavior" and "behavior-performance" models are constructed, and the main characteristics(i.e.entrepreneurship)are constructed. To explore the boundary conditions of secondary entrepreneurship from the perspective of orientation)and subject ability(ie learning ability).Specifically, this paper aims to analyze:(1)The differences in the influence of key entrepreneurial resources(ie,knowledge resources and commercial resources)on secondary entrepreneurial behaviors(ie,exploratory entrepreneurial behavior and exploitative entrepreneurial behavior)and entrepreneurial orientation.Boundary effect;(2)The influence of secondary entrepreneurial behavior on entrepreneurial performance and the boundary effect of learning ability.Through empirical research on 223 valid questionnaire data, the conclusions are drawn: First, knowledge resources and commercial resources have a positive impact on exploratory entrepreneurial behavior and exploitative entrepreneurial behavior, but knowledge resources have a positive impact on exploratory entrepreneurial behavior.Second, entrepreneurial orientation positively regulates the relationship between knowledge resources and exploratory entrepreneurial behavior and exploitative entrepreneurial behavior, and negatively regulates the relationship between commercial resources and exploration However, the moderating effect on the relationship between commercial resources and exploitative entrepreneurial behavior is not significant;thirdly, both exploratory entrepreneurial behavior and exploitative entrepreneurial behavior have a positive impact on entrepreneurial performance;fourth, learning ability is positively related to entrepreneurial performance. It moderates the relationship between exploratory entrepreneurial behavior and entrepreneurial performance, but the moderating effect on the relationship between exploitative entrepreneurial behavior and entrepreneurial performance is not significant. This paper applies the duality theory to the field of secondary entrepreneurship, extracts exploratory entrepreneurial behavior and exploitative entrepreneurial behavior, effectively combines the contextual factors to enrich the connotation of exploration and utilization, and extends the application field of the duality theory; The boundary conditions of the second entrepreneurial process provide a clearer theoretical framework for entrepreneurial management practice.
