The information display technology has been upgraded from CRT display to LCD display,and further to AMOLED display and flexible AMOLED display.Flexible foldable AMOLED display technology is a relatively new and challenging technology in mass production.The unsatisfactory product quality has led to an increase in the cost of flexible AMOLED,resulting in high selling prices and difficulty in popularization.Improving the quality level of flexible AMOLED is an urgent issue that needs to be addressed at present and in the future.The core product of Company A is the flexible AMOLED.Therefore,this thesis aims to improve the manufacturing quality level of A company’s flexible AMOLED products through a series of quality management tools.After summarizing the industry background and basic knowledge of quality management theory,the thesis introduces the relevant overview,organizational structure,and quality organization functions of Company A.Through the introduction of the product structure and manufacturing high-level flowchart of Company A’s flexible display,quality problems are divided into three categories: raw material quality,process quality and shipment quality.Based on statistical methods,The current quality problem of Company A is that the quality of raw materials,processes,and shipments can’t meet the goals.Subsequently,quality management tools such as pareto,fishbone chart,checklist,5Why,tree chart,and brainstorming were used to analyze the reasons for these three types of quality problems.Statistical analysis methods such as pie charts and bar charts were used,as well as failure analysis methods such as mechanism analysis,position analysis,component analysis,and experimental verification.Quality improvement plans were set based on PDCA theory.This plan included the organization,improving objectives,and improving schedule.Quality improvement goals: 67% improvement in batch pass rate of incoming materials,and 50% improvement in online yield of incoming materials;50% improvement in the yield rate of the production line process;The improvement rate of defective shipments is 64%.In the three major types of quality improvement,various quality management tools such as checklists,experimental design(DOE),and linear fitting are used to optimize key incoming material quality management plans,improve material characteristic control plans,optimize supplier operation methods and packaging,optimize foreign object control,optimize process parameters,optimize ESD control,optimize production process operation techniques,improve reliability monitoring plans,and verify failure mode acceleration factors,optimize product standards,as well as the improvement of detection capabilities,have solved the main quality management problems.
