Communist Party Of China, Yunnan Nationalities Work

The ethnic work in the Yunnan province is one part of the CCP's most important work. Using Marxist ethnic theory, combining history with theory, basing on the essential clue, this thesis concludes the CCP's experience of ethnic work in the Yunnan province, the author aims at opening out its developing rule and making the CCP's ethnic work theory rich. Ten chapters are included in the thesis.The exordium introduces the reason why to select the subject, the thesis' theory and practical meaning, the main research method, as well as the pattern of border area, minority nationalities and mountain together in the Yunnan province, but also the people's struggle against imperialism and feudalism. What the author's aim is to open out the ethnic relation in the Yunnan province's history, which more embodies absorbing, depending each other and developing together.The next three parts introduces mainly about the CCP's ethnic work in the Yunnan province during the period of New Democratism, which can be divided into three stages. Chapter II introduces the CCP's early ethnic work and its effects to the minorities nationalities in the Yunnan province during period of the 1st and 2nd civil revolution war(from the July in 1921 to the July in 1937). During the period, the CCP formed gradually the ethnic policy theory systems, but also opened a new road of the people's striving for liberation in the Yunnan province. Chapter III...
