In the background of international mathematics curriculum reform, mathematics inquiry learning is becoming an important of mathematics curriculum in china. However systematical theory arrangement and case research about mathematics inquiry learning can seldom be seen.The paper is conducted at the base of reading lots of documents about mathematics inquiry learning, combined with the circumstance of mathematics curriculum reform in china. To know the reality of mathematics inquiry learning development, the author investigates some mathematics teachers and students with questionnaire. There are two folds. On the one hand, the author defines intension and meaning of mathematics inquiry learning at the base of arrangement of mathematics inquiry learning. On the other hand, combined with mathematics inquiry learning teaching, the author analyses and discusses the cases about mathematics inquiry learning. Furthermore, at the base of this point, the author discusses mathematics inquiry learning strategy.When learning mathematics inquiry learning, at the base of students' psychological feature and the law of mathematics research, we should make full use of the potential of students' learning, embody the students' initiative and positive attitude to learning. First, with the help of teacher's direction, under the circumstance of solving mathematics problem, students make full use of various kinds of mathematics inquiry learning curriculum resources, collect and research information related to the question. By means of the experiments of operating objects, the experiments of mathematics theory, the analysis of data statistics, information technology experiments etc. second, students present research problem, form guess, verify the special case by experiments, deduce the problem, think the problem over. By means of the form of mathematics concept and proposition, induction, learning through the process of the emergency of problem, solving problem and application, students can further grasp spirit and thought method, form the consciousness of mathematics innovation, understand the value of science, the value of application, the cultural value, the aesthetic value in mathematics.The significance of mathematics inquiry learning is as followed: it is necessary for students' acquiring tacit knowledge, forming perfectpersonality; it can also meet the students' psychological need, and students will be satisfied in their mind. By mathematics inquiry learning, school can contact more with outside. And it does good to cultivation of students' consciousness of mathematics innovation.Mathematics inquiry learning ultimately takes place in classroom. Meanwhile the author is also concerned with analyzing and discussing the cases. At the base of researching case, the author have analyzed and discussed three cases about mathematics inquiry learning. (1) the first example: putting nine matches together to form triangles ingeniously, inquiry is carried out in operating objects experiments. (2) the second example :through studying the area of grid point polygon, inquiry in data induction is carried out.(3) the third example : through studying the area of sector, inquiry in deductive proof is carried out.There are mainly several parts as followed in mathematics inquiry learning strategy: Mathematics inquiry learning begins with the problem. The problem is the initial point of mathematics inquiry learning. In mathematics inquiry learning we should produce circumstance for students' finding out problem and putting forward the problem. The tactics of putting forward the problem mainly consists of several parts: producing circumstance for, putting forward the inquiry problem; when solving the problem, putting forward the inquiry problem, by dialogue communication between students, between teachers and students; changing limited condition in supposed problem is the way of creating new problem. Putting forward the problem by changing form of knowledge; putting forward the new inquiry problem by think and review after solving the problem. Going on...
