Poverty is a common challenge to the entire world.It posed a great threat to the improvement of life quality,the realization of individual value as well as the transmission of social civilization and the development of economy.The Chinese government had stressed the importance of poverty alleviation by increasing financial support to people in impoverished areas,and although the decreasing poverty rate becoming an obvious contribution to world poverty alleviation,follow-up survey found that there are still a large number of impoverished individuals who could barely meet their basic demands,there are also people who once successfully defeated poverty went back in no time;in the long run,poverty would violate the essence of socialism,and intensify the contradictions,it will surely be a threat to social harmony and stability.Besides,as the aging problem emerges in China,together with “The Belt and Road” initiative background,how to increase human capital,along with improving labor productivity and overall quality of the nation,to achieve sustainable economic growth,social prosperity and stability,is the key to the country's future.The core of competition in the twenty-first Century is the competition of science and technology.Education,as an important method of promoting human capital,plays an important role in poverty alleviation and sustainable development.This study,begins with a human capital perspective,further explores and integrates domestic and international poverty alleviation via education research,it also combines poverty alleviation theory together with human capital theory to complete a comprehensive analysis.The research is proposed on the premise of fairness and efficiency.This study relates to a comprehensive comparison and analysis of economic development among different regions in China,as well as China's per capita GDP,people's overall educational level and the cultivation of human capital.Through empirical analysis,as well as observations of the correlation between female adolescents' educational level and poverty,this research reached the conclusion that invest in targeted groups' education expenses could induce positive results in poverty alleviation.This study is based on the demonstration and experiments over poverty alleviation through education,and suggested a solution to achieve outstanding results under the assitance of new technology.It also provided policy suggestions based on the contents of education,improvement of leagal restrictions over education assisted poverty alleviation,as well as the establishment and improvement of welfare system for the poor.It suggested a unified-standard national testing system introduced into the work of education assisted poverty alleviation,and advocated an introduction of private education under the financial assistance of the government,to supplement the current public education system;it also suggests a more flexible donation policy and a more friendly environment provided open to the public,hoping to raise poor people's general well-being and generate sufficient workforce with skills in demand in the future.Poverty eradication and universal education are among the top and the second goals of the 8 Millennium Development Goals of the United Nations.The importance of them in the global society are obvious.Investigating and understanding the relationship between the two are crucial in terms of maintaining the disadvantaged groups' well being as well as the development of the society.
