| At present,China’s vocational education has entered a period of deepening reform.Under the background of vocational education reform,counselors play an important role in cultivating talents with combination of virtue and skill,and play an irreplaceable role as a bridge and fortress in completing the fundamental task of "establishing virtue and cultivating talents".Therefore,to carry out a special study on "enhancing the competence of counselors in vocational colleges" will be more conducive to promoting vocational colleges to establish a professional and professional counselor team,enhancing the educational power of "three-in-one education" in vocational education,and helping the reform of vocational education.The particularity of the teaching objects and training objectives of vocational colleges and universities determines that the work connotation of the counselors in vocational colleges and universities is different from that in ordinary colleges and universities,and their competency requirements are also different.This study focuses on "what is the competency of counselors in vocational colleges? How’s that ? Why is that? What should I do?" This research line,from the vocational college counselors competency "essence exploration","model construction","current situation investigation","influence factor analysis" and "promotion strategy research" five aspects of the research carried out the necessity,reality and cause.On the basis of exploring the present situation,the connotation of the core concept and the relevant theoretical basis of the existing studies at home and abroad,this study adopts the methods of “Behavioral Event Interview”and “Delphi”expert consultation,this paper constructs the competency model of counselors in higher vocational schools,validates the model with the help of questionnaire survey,and finally establishes the competency model of counselors in higher vocational schools,it includes four dimensions: The ability of educating people,the cultivation of Teachers’ morality,the personality trait and the professional attitude.Through a large sample survey,this paper studies the current situation of the competency of counselors in higher vocational schools.First,“Education ability”is strong overall,individual short board needs to be improved;second,“Personality characteristics”clear unity,anti-stress ability needs to be improved;Fourth,the “Professional attitude”is not optimistic,both inside and outside the promotion of the urgent.According to“Performance management theory”and“ Situational competence theory ”,this paper analyzes the influencing factors,including personal factors,organizational factors and social factors.In the light of the influencing factors,this paper puts forward some strategies for improving the competence of counselors in higher vocational schools,that is,the strategy of self-promotion of “Knowing and acting”based on career development theory,the strategy of “ Selection,Training,Assessment,Motivation”based on modern management thought,and the strategy of “Trinity”based on coordination theory.The results of this study have three innovations: first,the characteristics of the competency model of counselors in vocational colleges are analyzed by comparing the competency model of counselors in ordinary colleges and universities;Second,in view of the previous promotion strategy proposed from the perspective of external security,this study deeply analyzes the instructor "subject cultivation" internal promotion strategy;Third,in view of the realistic bottleneck of the construction of the counselor team in vocational colleges,the author puts forward some specific strategies,such as establishing a "school rank promotion" system for instructors,innovating the work mode of counselors,and constructing the "moral community".This study enriches the research system of teacher competency and develops the theory of moral education view.This study puts forward the strategies of "main body cultivation","organization cultivation" and "joint force driving" to enhance the competence of counselors in vocational colleges,which have certain reference significance and promotion value for the construction of counselors in vocational colleges in China,and can also provide reference and support for the work of "three-in-one education" in vocational education. |
