| In the employment process of college students,what factors play a decisive role in high-quality employment of college students? Is it the ascription of family background or the self-induced individual effort? Which factor is more important? Under the social public opinion of dad-is-the-key,appearance-is-the-key,qualification-is-the-key,do the college students’ personal efforts and professional quality really play no roles in the competition for high-quality employment? In view of the above problems,this study uses empirical research methods to verify the influence of self-induced capital of college students on high-quality employment.In order to effectively prove the effect of personal efforts and external help on the high-quality employment of college students,the concept of “self-induced capital” is presented to represent the personal effort factors,and it also forms a pair of concept category with “ ascribed capital” which represents external help factors.Based on scientifically summarizing the existing research results,the concept of self-induced capital of college students is ascribed to certain structuralized and individualized human capital(including educational human capital and practical human capital)and induced social capital.The ascription of high-quality employment,self-induced capital and ascribed capital of college students are described by certain index system.By using stratified sampling method,624 graduates majoring in economics and management who were selected from a first-class university,a first-class discipline construction university,a provincial key public university,and a provincial ordinary private university were surveyed by questionnaire.Through OLS regression,disordered Logit regression,ordered Logit regression and other methods were used to analyze the impact of educational human capital,practical human capital and ascribed social capital on the employment quality of college students.And the only child,poor students,gender and school level were taken as the moderating variables.The influence mechanism of self-induced capital on the employment quality of college students with academic achievement,father’s educational background and mother’s educational background as mediating variables.The results show that: firstly,in the high-quality employment of college students,the influence of self-induced capital is significantly higher than ascribed capital,which indicates that Chinese society is becoming more and more open,civilized and modern,and increasingly recognised that the occupational competition and social class rising are achieved by individual efforts.Secondly,the influence of self-induced capital of college students on the employment quality is comprehensive.Although human capital and self-induced social capital are all contributed to the high-quality employment of college students,the college students with strong self-induced capital have more advantages in the process of high-quality employment.Thirdly,in terms of the influencing mechanism,the three characteristics which is gender,poor students and only child have the more complex effects on the regulating mechanism and mediating mechanism of self-induced capital influencing employment quality of the college students.Based on the empirical research results,this study suggests that: firstly,we should do a good job in academic guidance,consolidate the educational human capital;Secondly,we should highlight practical orientation and develop the practical human capital.Thirdly,pay attention to social capacity,and accumulate induced social capital.By cultivating and enriching self-induced capital of college students in three ways,the core competitiveness and employment quality of college students are comprehensively promoted. |
