| Tai Chi Chuan,which embodies the essence of traditional Chinese culture,is originally a comprehensive system of traditional martial arts,including techniques such as internal energy cultivation,solo forms,pushing hands,free sparring,and routines.It covers a wide range of techniques,including empty-handed and weapons.The pursuit of martial skill is a typical characteristic of Tai Chi Chuan.However,due to a long-standing focus on its solo forms in both popular fitness and competitive sports,people have formed a biased understanding that equates Tai Chi Chuan solely with its routines.Extensive research has revealed that current martial arts teaching in various levels of schools in China,including Tai Chi Chuan,generally adopts a single routine format and relies on outdated didactic teaching methods.As a result,students have little interest in Tai Chi Chuan classes.The existing teaching model of Tai Chi Chuan can no longer meet the needs of building a strong sports nation and fostering cultural confidence in the Chinese nation.It is urgent to reform the teaching content and methods.Research purpose: By using the Chinese health physical education curriculum model to reform the problems existing in traditional Tai Chi teaching,such as students’ low interest in learning,skill learning deviating from the essence of martial arts,and the effect of improving physical health,it can effectively cultivate students’ interest in learning Tai Chi,improve students’ self-defense ability,enhance their physical health level,and return to the essence of Tai Chi.It is to cultivate the national spirit of "strong and self-strengthening",so as to enhance the cultural confidence of the young people,and to provide assistance for the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation.Research methods: This study adopts a variety of research methods,including literature method,questionnaire method,expert interview method,teaching experiment method and mathematical statistics method,among which teaching experiment method is the key.The experimental subjects were students in the fourth grade of primary school and the first grade of junior high school.The aim was to explore the teaching effect of structured teaching content and diversified teaching methods of Taijiquan(Tai chi pushing hands and Taiji sword)on students based on the curriculum model of Chinese health physical education.The existing fragmented Tai chi sets and single teaching methods were used as the control group.Through a12-week teaching intervention,data were analyzed using multivariate analysis of variance and post hoc comparison to assess the effects of these teaching methods on students’ tai chi motor skills,physical health and learning interest.Research results: The structured teaching content and diversified teaching methods of Taijiquan have the following effects on the learning interest,motor skills and physical health of primary and junior middle school students:1.In terms of learning interest:(1)Both male and female primary school students’ Tai Chi pushing hands are significantly better than Tai Chi pushing hands,P< 0.05;male students’ Tai Chi sword is significantly better than Tai chi pushing hands,P < 0.05;female students’ Tai Chi sword and Tai chi pushing hands have no significant difference.(2)The sword of junior middle school boys and girls is significantly better than Tai Chi pushing hand,Tai Chi pushing hand is significantly better than Tai Chi set,P < 0.05.2.In terms of motor skills:(1)Both Taiji pushing hands and Taiji sword are significantly better than Taiji set for primary school boys and girls,P < 0.05,there is no significant difference between Taiji pushing hands and Taiji sword.(2)Taiji pushing hands and Taiji sword are significantly better than Taiji set for junior middle school boys and girls,P < 0.05,Taiji sword is significantly better than Taiji pushing hands,P < 0.05.3.In terms of physical health:(1)In terms of body composition of primary school boys,both Taiji sword and Taiji pushing hand are significantly better than Taiji set,P < 0.05,Taiji pushing hand and Taiji sword have no significant difference.In terms of cardiopulmonary endurance,Tai Chi pushing hands is significantly better than Tai Chi routine,P < 0.05,no significant difference between Tai Chi sword pushing hands,no significant difference between Tai Chi sword pushing hands and Tai Chi routine.In terms of strength,Taiji sword is significantly better than Taiji push hand,P < 0.05,Taiji push hand is significantly better than Taiji set,P < 0.05.In terms of speed,Taiji sword is significantly better than Tai Chi pushing hands and Tai Chi set,P < 0.05,no significant difference between Tai Chi set and Tai Chi pushing hands.In terms of agility and coordination,Taiji sword is significantly superior to Taiji pushing hands and Taiji pushing hands,and P < 0.05 there is no significant difference between Taiji pushing hands and Taiji pushing hands.There was no significant difference in flexibility.In terms of cardiopulmonary endurance of primary school girls,Taiji sword is significantly better than tai Chi pushing hands and Tai Chi set,P< 0.05,there is no significant difference between Tai Chi pushing hands and Tai Chi set.In terms of strength,both Taiji sword and Taiji sword pushing hand are significantly better than Taiji set,P < 0.05,Taiji pushing hand and Taiji sword have no significant difference.In terms of flexibility,Tai Chi pushing hands is significantly better than Tai Chi set,P < 0.05,no significant difference between sword pushing hands and Tai Chi pushing hands,no significant difference between sword pushing hands and Tai Chi set.In terms of agility and coordination,Taiji sword is significantly better than Taiji set and Taiji push hand,P < 0.05,there is no significant difference between Taiji set and Taiji push hand.There were no significant differences in body composition or speed.(2)In terms of cardiopulmonary endurance of junior middle school boys,Taiji sword is significantly better than Taiji pushing hand and Taiji set,P< 0.05,there is no significant difference between Taiji pushing hand and Taiji set.In terms of strength,Taiji sword is significantly better than Taiji pushing hand and Taiji set,P < 0.05,there is no significant difference between Taiji pushing hand and Taiji set.In terms of speed,Taiji sword is significantly better than Taiji push hand,P <0.05,there is no significant difference between Taiji set and Taiji push hand.There was no significant difference in flexibility and agility coordination.In terms of cardiopulmonary endurance of junior middle school girls,Taiji sword is significantly better than Tai Chi pushing hands and Tai Chi set,P < 0.05,there is no significant difference between Tai Chi pushing hands and Tai Chi set.In terms of strength,Taiji sword is significantly better than Taiji pushing hand and Taiji set,P < 0.05,there is no significant difference between Taiji pushing hand and Taiji set.In terms of speed,Taiji sword is significantly better than Taiji push hand,P < 0.05,there is no significant difference between Taiji set and Taiji push hand.In terms of body composition,flexibility,agility and coordination,Taiji set,Taiji pushing hands and Taiji sword have no significant difference.The above research results confirm that the structured teaching content and diversified teaching methods of Tai Chi Chuan martial arts based on the Chinese Health and Physical Education curriculum model have shown better teaching effectiveness in improving the learning interest and motor skills of primary and junior high school students,as well as promoting their physical fitness.These results outperform fragmented Tai Chi Chuan routines and single teaching methods.Additionally,it was found that Tai Chi Sword is superior to Tai Chi Push Hands.Based on these findings,the following conclusions can be drawn.Research conclusion:(1)Add skills and attacks in Tai Chi teaching to make students more involved.This change is helpful to stimulate primary and middle school students’ interest in Tai Chi and improve their interest in learning.At the same time,compared with unarmed tai Chi pushing hands,the more open and structured Tai Chi sword has a better effect on improving students’ learning interest.It is also an effective way to improve the interest of Taijiquan learning to change the current single cramming teaching method to diversified teaching method.(2)Compared with the dull teaching of current Tai Chi routines and students’ resistance,the teaching of Tai Chi skills and attacks can meet the martial arts learning needs of primary and secondary school students and make them more involved in the Tai Chi skills and attacks practice,so as to better improve their skills.At the same time,students’ interest in studying Taiji sword is higher than that of Taiji pushing hand,which leads to the improvement of their skills in Taiji sword and better effect.At the same time,diversified teaching methods also help students to better master Tai Chi skills.(3)The return of the essence of Taijiquan,the integration of the actual combat of Taijiquan and the application of diversified teaching methods can improve the exercise load of Taijiquan teaching.Especially in the aspect of fighting against more intense Taiji sword,it can improve students’ physical control ability,enhance cardiopulmonary endurance,strength and speed,and then promote students’ physical health. |
