GITI group (China) investment limited company is the large tire company that GITI group in Indonesia establishes in Chinese mainland investment. In 1993 GITI tire jointed venture with Anhui tire factory' bias part, later owned individual , proprietorship, and then gradually annexed all steel tire factory in Anhui. By 14 years development, at present GITI has already owned five production bases including Anhui GITI, Fujian GITI, Yinchuan GITI, Chongqing GITI, Hualin GITI. Its year sales income exceed 10 billion RMB. currently GITI become the biggest tire business enterprise of domestic year production value.However, since 2004, because of the domestic and international market environment change, particularly nation macro economy regulation and the original material price soaring, The world tire enterprises which rank in ten order increase capital and expands production. The market competition is turnning fierce. GITI sales income growth slows, the profits descend. How to get away from this predicament, How to create the core competencies of the group and find out the new profits growth of the group are becoming urgent matter of the present.This thesis is under this background, aiming at how GITI tire can continue to keep the development of the tire business enterprise under increasingly rigorous market environment, from raising the tire business enterprise core competencies, By analysing the tire enterprises professional technique, putting forward GITI tire technology R&D counterplan.Through analysing of GITI present technology status combining with tire industry leaders technology status, Finding out GITI main problem of technology R&D department, expatiating and analysing especially in organization constructure, personnel resources, project management, IT management, and then putting forward advice of solving problem: regulating organization structure in order to effectively make use of personnel resources; boosting up information analysis ability; changing present technology management responsibilities into project management ones; introducing whole project management, setting project check standard and establishing project estimation systerm. Consequently offering advice for the sake of GITI Tire Group development.
