In order to guarantee the urban economy society sustainable development, the systematic research on city water resources utilization is quite necessary.The paper has conducted the research to countermeasures of urbanization course and sustainable utilization of water resources in Emeishan city, Sichuan province. At the first, made a investigation to the Emeishan city urbanization course and water resources development using the present situation, and discovered sustainable utilization of water resources in Emeishan has met serious challenges. In this foundation, by means of Union method, forecasted the urbanization levels of Emeishan city in 2010, 2020 and 2030; meanwhile used the classified forecast synthesis to be legitimate, forecasted the water demand of Emeishan city in 2010, in 2020, in 2030, and analyzed the balance of water supply and demand. Secondly, this article introduced the concept of urbanization and sustainable utilization of water resources in city, analyzed the effects of the urbanization on the water resources. This article establishes the mathematical model, urbanization course and utilization of water resources in Emeishan city, through statistical software, used correlation analysis and regression analysis, and discovered the linear correlation between the Emeishan urbanization and the comprehensive utilization of water resources, that is, they are scaled, the urbanized level higher, the water demand more, Otherwise, city water demand less.Finally, water resource is faced with to the serious challenges in Emeishan city.
