According to the fast development of the modern motor technology, power electronics technology, microelectronic technology, control technology and computer technology, previous control problems of AC servo motor are solved quickly and velocity modulation quality of AC servo systems is improved enormously. While the performance of AC servo systems is enhanced day by day, the price of AC servo systems tends to be reasonable. In the high accuracy and high performance requirement field, the AC servo systems substitute for the DC servo systems is the development tendency of modern servo control systems. The inductor motor (IM) has some advantages such as firm structure, easily manufactured, and cheap price; thus IM servo systems have good prospect and represent the development direction of future servo technology.Firstly, the dissertation summarizes the development of AC servo systems, and understands the significance of the developing IM servo system clear.Secondly, after in-depth study of coordinate transformation and the AC induction motor mathematical models in different coordinate, the paper describe the rotor flux oriented vector control principle and establish the corresponding control equation. With SVPWM principle, the paper raised the control scheme of AC servo system.Thirdly, by using digital signal processor chip TMS320F2812A as the core control unit and ASIPM as kernel of power circuit, the software and hardware of all-digital controller is implemented based on principle of modularization and some theoretical research of key parts have been done. Finally, some experimental studies have been done. The results fully approved the usability and reliability of the system. At the end of paper, the further research expectation is presented.
