Research On Car-Safety Characteristic Index System

As the development of the car manufacture, the traffic safety becomes more and more important. There are many methods to evaluate the car-safety characteristics, such as the standards and results of NCAP tests and so on. Most of them come out in the stated condition. It is meaningful to establish a car-safety characteristic index system with many factors which may influence the car-safety characteristic.The thesis described three car-safety characters based on data. Then, four kinds of the environment styles which may influence the car safety were raised. It also established a model of car-safety comprehensive evaluation and calculated the weight of car-safety characteristic. It was founded such an index system to evaluate the car-safety characters with the NCAP results. The car-safety evaluation system was established which based on all of them. Subsequently, AHP was used to calculate the index weights of different layers. The thesis may give some advices when people buy cars, and offer referrences to the insurance company. At the same time the thesis can also urge the car designers and manufacturers to improve the car-safety.Finally, the differences of two kinds of cars were evaluated to be in the same level, and the car-safety characteristic index system was validated.
