On Translation Teaching In The Light Of Materialistic Dialectic

Materialistic Dialectic is the scientific world outlook and methodology which gives us great guidance to our cognition and practice. The basic thought of Materialistic Dialectic refers to the universal connections and continuous development of the natural world. The discussion of Translation Teaching from the angle of Materialistic Dialectic, and having an analysis of the regularity as well as various confusing problems of the process of Translation Teaching will help specifying the direction and trend of the development of Translation Teaching and applying scientific rules to our practice. At present, most of the studies and researches about Translation Teaching are circling around translation theory, teaching method and teaching experience, while discussing in terms of philosophy will be more helpful to indicate the essential problems of the development of Translation Teaching.This paper takes the three crucial laws of Materialistic Dialectic as the starting point, attempts to have a profound analysis from a new angle of the prospects, route and confusions in the practice of Translation Teaching, especially in the links of both teaching and learning during Translation Teaching towards postgraduates majoring in the subject of translation, and specify the approaches to the solutions of problems in four areas of Translation Teaching: construction of foundation engineering, cultivation scheme, curriculum setting and launch of the classroom teaching, expecting that will be helpful to find out new ways to breakthrough the bottleneck of the development of Translation Teaching.
