| This paper is consist of two parts, the case and analysis.The part of case will introduce the survey of Guangzhou Cable Television (GZCATV) and its management in aspects of user, network building, network maintain. In this part, we will describe the following contents in the order of time. The first is the successful practice of event processing system in early time. The second is the failure of building in management information system based on Web in order to solve the problem existing in GZCATV, and in order to improve the level of the management. The third is the item setting of management information system based on GIS (Geography Information System). All above contents will have described the success and setback of GZCATV informationizing course, and their chance and challenge.In case analysis part, the first we will put forward the necessary of building the management information system, the second we will make a thinking of the success and the failure in practice of information system. For the management based on Wed, we will list and analyze the phenomnon and the reason of failure, meantime we will list the organization resistance and individual resistance of system implementing, and the method overcome these resistances, and it is pointed out that the building of management information system only combine with the management and management change, it can possess life. Then having the aid of IT (Information Technique) and the thinking of process reproduction, we will try to present the method of solving the problem existing in GZCATV. Last we will present the suggestion to ensure the implement of building management information system. |
