Performance appraisal, as the most important part of the human resource management, is one of the most powerful means of the company's management nowadays. It is the intention of the performance appraisal to improve the efficiency of individual by the appraisal and to achieve the company's targets. The paper puts forward to appraising the staff's performance of Dalian container terminal.This paper describes the ways and the principles of performance appraisal. There were some shortages in the appraisal's system which applying to the staffs. According to the corporate theory analysis, I support all kinds of the factors of the performance appraisal, in addition to the inner and outer requirement of the management structure of the firm. I'd pointed where the intention is.After confirming the standard of the staffs performance appraisal, it is an important issue that how to apply in practice. This paper describes applying AHP and FUZZY in practice appraisal, constructing AHP's form of the Dalian container company, designing -and applying in -- of the company in fact in order to get good results. At last the paper refers to the line of the company's performance appraisal and the applying of performance appraisal's results. This paper provides the company for the basis of performance appraisal.
