In the industry of information technology .whose competence rely on the knowledge and capability of employees more and more, effective system of performance evaluation, scientific institution of motivation, and management of career paths are the important bases for attracting excellent persons, motivating employee, and improving competences of enterprise continuously. Only making use of institutional innovation to found systems of performance evaluation and motivation compensation, which are based on capacity and performance, and emphasizing career paths of employee, company can obtain advantages in the competence of personnel market and get dominant position in market. The objective realities of information technology industry is that most companies put too much attention on the percentage of market and the speed of development, and are lack of a complementary human resource management system to support the development of business, especially lack of a complementary system of employee performance evaluation. It is critically important for companies to found a complementary system of employee performance evaluation. Any important decision in the management and development of human resource must be connected with performance evaluation. Performance evaluation can help the managers judge fairly, award clearly, and assess employees scientifically. Performance evaluation is the core function of human resource management. So author hopes to base on the realities of FF Company in which author works now,through analyzing the internal system of performance evaluation in the FF Company and mastering the related basic theories of performance evaluation, to design a system of performance evaluation fit with the FF Company. Hope this thesis could benefit the improvement of performance of the employees in the FF Company and provide reference to the companies in the same industry.The questions which would be mattered in this thesis are: how to apply the related theories of performance evaluation in the process of system design; the problems in the internal system of performance evaluation in the FF Company now; how to redesign the system of performance evaluation to solve these problems.The first part of this thesis introduces the goal, content, means and process of design of system of performance evaluation.The second part of this thesis mainly introduces the realities of the FF Company, the problems existing in today's system of performance evaluation in the FF Company, and that how these problem influence the whole performance of the FF Company.The third part includes the following: analysis of today's system of performance evaluation; redesign of goal, standards, means, principles, and process of evaluation system.The forth part of this thesis assesses the effect of new system of performance evaluation, analyses the characteristics and shortages of the new system of performance evaluation, and gives the improvement plan to provide reference to the companies in the same industries.
