Performance Evaluation(PE) is a very important work for Performance Management, but very challenging at the same time. For local enterprises, especially transformed state-owned enterprises, it is an inarguable mission to establish a scientific system for PE, which shall adhere to the situation of China and be of help for enterprises' development.It has long been tough nuts to crack for enterprises concerning standards of PE, evaluation flow and low reliability and positive effect of the active PE system. Based upon in-depth analysis to strategic objectives and importance of training for a developing enterprise, we redesign the PE system and we hope it could be of help.This thesis started from essential principles and methods of PE, then go for an overall analyzing original training system of XT Company including its active standards and methods. After the analysis, we raise several questions and go for an in-depth discussion. Then we put forward our suggestion that Standards of PE shall be made according to various positions and objectives and the employees who will be evaluated shall also have a voice in making the standards to improve its acceptability. The new PE system is objective oriented by mixed standards system and compellent distributed system etc. Through careful analysis, the author hope toshow us the function of PE system should not only limited to a summary of past work, but also a control beforehand as well as improve employees' performance and reinforce PE management.
