Performance evaluation is a core question in any economic system. It is an important part of control system in enterprise management. With the high development of information technology, the ability of traditional, single financial evaluation system cannot be equal to our ambition. It cannot timely, accurately supply the information of supporting decision and the information of enforcement and control. In view of this situation, the author puts forward that we must set up a efficient performance evaluation system.At first this thesis introduces the basic theory of performance evaluation. Based on these discuss, the author further probes into the method how to set up a efficient evaluation system. At last, through the analysis of the utilization of the performance evaluation system in enterprises, this thesis explains its important position in enterprises.
