Study Of Project Performance Appraisal System In Construction Enterprise

The construction project is an open system with the characteristic of long life cycle and complicated management, and which is needed to coordinate the relations in many ways, known as " making blood cell" of the construction enterprise. At present, in the construction enterprise, the project appraisal methods involves quantitative hundred-mark checking and project contract inspection system, etc. These appraisal methods promote the work of the project department effectively at beginning. But as time goes on, it can't adapt to the request for the project performance appraisal under the market economy condition. Especially, it isn't suitable in comparing vertically and horizontally management level and performance level among many projects. So it needs to be improved.The paper is written based on collecting the documents, investigating and deeply analysing. Through the definition of relevant concepts of the project performance appraisal, analysis of realistic meaning of the project performance appraisal and studying of relevant theories of the project performance appraisal, the paper preliminarily structures a set of project performance appraisal system, which includes appraising environmental system, appraising index system, appraising criterion system and appraising method system. In addition, the paper has carried on the instance analysis. The key parties of the paper include five chapters:Chapter one sums up the background of the selected title and meaning, domestic and international performance appraisal state of development and document survey, and the content, method of studying and innovating mainly.Chapter two defines and explaines the relevant concepts of the project performance appraisal that the paper involves, including performance, performance appraisal, project, project manager department and project performance appraisal. The paper analyzes basic theories of the project performance appraisal, and has introduced especially management theory of the goal, key performance index, dynamic management theory and the appraisal course theory.Chapter three, which structures the project performance appraisal system of construction enterprise, is the key part of this paper too. With appraising environmental system, appraising index system, appraising criterion system and appraising method system, the paper studies and explains the project performance appraisal system in detail. In appraising method system, the paper carries on determining the index weight by AHP, and appraises the relative performance of project by DEA.Chapter four is about the case analysis. The paper appraises project performance and relative performance in seven project departments of No. 2 construction Co. Ltd of Wuhan constraction group. The conclusion is that the appraisal system, with strong operation and practicability, is easy to be accepted by enterprises.Chapter five carries on summarizing and analyzing the tendency of project performance appraisal.
