Employing a self-designed survey, the author has investigated the current situation of self-control of juvenile delinquents and analyzed how the factors, such as the characteristics, the delict types, the educational level and, etc, correlate with self-control. Based on the results of the investigation, the paper has brought forward the objective evidence and possible methods to improve the self-control of juvenile delinquents for remand home.In addition, the author has designed a set of group training courses surrounded by the topic of self-control, which intervene the juvenile delinquents' violent aggression. Through measuring the self-control level and organizing the semi-structured interview between the experimental group and the compared group, the author has estimated the efficiency of the training group in enhancing the self-control level of juvenile delinquents and reducing their aggressive behavior.Through questionnaire, group training and semi-structured interview, the research shows that (1) in the three factors of cognition-control, emotion-control and action-control, juvenile delinquents has the lowest score on emotion-control and the highest score on cognition-control; (2) the difference of self-control is significant between the juvenile delinquents of primary education and those of higher education. (3) the self-control degree of juvenile delinquents who have violent aggression is significant low than juvenile delinquents who haven't violent aggression;(4) the factors of self-control,such as emotion-control, cognition-control and action-control, have significant relationship with the factors of MMPI, such as psychopathy, deliria, schizophrenia, neurasthenic and society diffidence; (5) after group trainning, experimental group and control group present significant differences on cognition-control and action-control. Otherwise, the juvenile delinquents who was trained in group training have positive change on control their aggression. They gradually reduced fight and quarrel with others and had more harmony relationship.According to the above-mentioned results, the paper puts forward the following advices: (1) to improve the training of juvenile delinquents' self-control, (2) to enhance juvenile delinquents' degree of education, (3) to equip the professionals, to set up the criteria courses and to perform the group training regularly.
