Research On Online Cadres' Training Model Based On Communities Of Practice

The Central Government issued an announcement of Training Regulations (Tentative) For Cadre Education in 2006, requiring large scope, large-scale cadres' training must be carried out, and furthermore, in order to enhance cadres' training effectiveness and the level of information management, the form of online training and distance education should be widely used. With the boom of nationwide cadres' online training, some fundamental problems are also being exposed gradually. The effectiveness of the online training for cadres is questioned:Manpower and material resources had been spent on cadres' online training, but, their Job performance hadn't been improved as obviously as we anticipated, in other words, the theory was divorced from its practice.This research focuses on an effective online training model with the aim of enhancing cadres' training effectiveness based on the theory and operating methods of Communities of Practice, besides, the author is work on making it clearer, more convenient to operate in order to promote and apply in cadres' training market. Firstly, based on the literature review, the paper analyzes the development of cadres' online training home and abroad currently, exploring the role of cadres' online training is playing in the whole cadre education system and pointing out the main problems so as to make key points in research more clearly. Secondly, the paper researches the connotation, function, characteristics, relevant studies and their theoretical foundation fully in the hope of obtaining some enlightening information, and analyzes two cases to benefit further research. Moreover, the paper study into the main factors and their relevance of Communities of Practice in order to analyze how to constructOnline cadres' community of Practice and give course of action. on that basis, the author designs effective training strategies and specific methodology and technology. And lastly, based on the above research, this thesis constructs the online training model based on Communities of Practice, draw out flow chart and elaborate it. In the end part, the author summaries some important research conclusions of this article and proposes some forecast in this field in the future.To sum up, in accordance with the research route that "the existing condition analyzing-problem-proposing-theoretical-analyzing-case-studying-strategy-studying- model constructing", the result goes step by step and operating methods become more definite. The author makes research actual, effective, rather than merely theoretical interpretation of hollow. Besides, the paper comes up with the concept "Online cadres' community of Practice" innovatively, constructs training model and elaborates the operating courses so as to make a contribution to promote the building of cadre personnel, build "learning society" and narrow the gaps of education resources.
