Insisting on "being based on people" , this is the new demands that the 16th third plenary session puts forward for our party. Being based on people exists from ancient times to the present, and it is Marxism, Mao Zedong thought, Deng Xiaoping theories, "three represents" important ideology where it have. In the reforming and developing new times, facing with the management revolution wave tide of the whole world, and the whole society' s call to "being based on people" . practicing humanistic management is inevitable choice to strengthen and improve troops management, In a world where humanistic management is highly popular, in a wave where "three reprents" is fully implemented by our government and various department, the "being on people" new thoughts is being put into practice by various society and it has become a common sense to adapt "being based on people " new thoughts to the whole army management, some units are beginning to explore new ways to carry it out. At such circumstance, the research on the application of humanistic management in the army has significant theoretic and practical meaning. With the guide of Marxist military theories, Mao Zedong military thoughts, Deng Xiaoping' s troop establishing thoughts in new times, and Jiang Zemin's national defense establishment thoughts, sticking to the principle of " theories laying behind application, combining both theory and practice, emphasizing the practical operation, providing the army with humanistic management theory" , following the consequence of " what is humanistic management, why to put forward it, how to carry it out in army, and the meaning of implementing it" , this thesis involves three parts to discuss the application of humanistic management in the army. The first part primarily introduces the general humanistic management theories, and put forward the basic elements, basic contents, theories mode, and process to operate it. On the basis of analyzing the necessity and realistic conditions, the second part summarizes about the main problems and reasons in the army' humanistic management, and then makes a profound research on how to operate it from the aspects of basic principle, main content, and theproblems needed to resolve. Finally, by observing our model Liang Yanpinga supervisor in university who sticks to the thoughts of "being based on people" and devote wholly himself to educate young soldiers, a thorough case example research is made on his application of humanistic management in basic company.
