China and Japan (including Ryukyu Islands) are neighboring countries, connected on the sea. Because of the reasons of the history and reality, there exists latent conflicts on the safe-benefit problems between the two countries, particularly the Ocean Strategies around East China Sea and the problem of energy exploration .The geopolitical situation around East China Sea are quite meaningful to both countries, so Japan watch China's developing strategies on the ocean space with doubt and vigilance. According to the demarcation principles in United Nations Convention on the Law of the Sea, China agrees to mark out boundary according to the fair principles at the foundation of "nature extension" principle, marking the sea slot in Okinawa as boundary line between the islands in Ryukyu Islands and East China Sea. However, Japanese attempts to seize on the ownership of the sea to the east of centerline of non-disputing territory between China and Japan. Under East China Sea, abundant oil and gas are contained. Both China and Japanese pay great attention to it because of China's development as well as Japan's scarcity in energy. Continuously, there are conflicts and also the energy co operations of Sino-Russian and Japan-Russian play a role in it. From the early 1990s, China insists on the possession of South China Sea and East China Sea more decisively. It evokes Japanese guard on its sea routes' safety to Mid-East, territory conflicts, oil in East China Sea, and fishing benefits. Viewing from the sea space, Chinese unifies might interfere with Japanese "Big Nation Strategy", and Japan think it will block its "Life Line On the Sea". But China's unifies can't be stopped, Japan should look for acompromise on the base of it.
