"The method of governance is electing the good men ; the method of administration is selecting the right men."To select the talents through the public competitive methods is one of the most important characters in modern Civil Servant's system, as a result, the competition mechanism in the employment of Civil Servant is very important as one of the core mechanisms of the Civil Servant's system. In the author's opinion, the competition mechanism in the employment of Civil Servant includes two contents, on one hand it means the construction of the elements in the employment competition, on the other hand, it means the movement regulation and the organizing construction in the employment competition. The article involves the reasons of the establishment of the competition mechanism in the employment of Civil Servant in our country and the process of the establishment, as the same time, the author analysis the condition of the competition mechanism in the employment of Civil Servant in our country. The competition mechanism in the employment of Civil Servant in the Western countries are successful, in many places we should draw lessens from them, in this article, the author proceed the argument about this question. In the last of this article, the author analyzed the front problems of the competition mechanism in the employment of Civil Servant in our country, and put forward some counterplans about how to improve it.
