As the next step, the negative effects of his mainland policies will be assessed. They refer to the following: the ambiguities and changeable positions reflecting from his mainland policies will bury a hidden bomb to the future cross-strait relations; his extra emphasis on the identification of"the Republic of China"does harm to the possible breakthrough from the cross-strait relations and the future negotiations between the two straits; his neutral postions on the mainland issues will bring uncertainties to the promotions of the cross-strait relations. The conclusive part is the summary to the whole dissertation. |
