E-participation In The Service-oriented Government

Since 20th century 80's years, the government of China has launched various stages of e-government project. The infuluence of e-government has become politics and economics. The wide-used techniques of e- government, not only improving the channels between government and citizens, but also change the capacity of people participate the public judgement. It has been pointed out in the report at the 16th national congress of the comminist party of china that developing socialist democracy and establishing a well-off society in an all-round way. Give full scope to democracy, relying on collective wisdom and make scientific and democratic decisions with informationa techniques effectively is the most important part of building service-oriented government.In this paper, we use new public management theories,democratic theories and reventing government theories to discuss the deep relationship between e-participation development and the building of serviced-oriented government. According to the analyssis of real samples, we find that e-participation will actually improving the building of Chinese serviced-oriented government. We find that e-participation will provide the new technical method, enlarge the basic of people's participation, create a well political and civilized atmosphere and found a new style of democratical supervision. Acording to the radical situation of our country, result in the pertinent suggestion, we hope to make further investigation and study in this field.
