Lu Xun's works are unique and classical. So far, Lu Xun's works have been in the Chinese textbook of middle school for nearly a century. From the Republic of China to today, with the constant change of society, the number and interpretation's emphasis of Lu Xun's works have a great difference in the Chinese textbook of middle school. We can comb clearly the compiling direction of Chinese textbook of middle school and the process of Chinese teaching methods' change by analysing the change of Lu Xun's works, which is helpful for guiding teachers to interpret the textbooks.The chapter one of the paper summarizes the change of selection and interpretation's emphasis of Lu Xun's works in the Chinese textbooks of middle school from the Republic of China to today, and analyses its reasons combining with the contemporary social environment. The chapter two thinks about the change of Lu Xun's works, analyses the main factors which influence its change, discusses the future trend of compiling rules of Chinese textbooks, and gives some reasonable suggestions. In the chapter three, considering dynamic development of textbooks' compiling rules, the author thinks that teachers should interpret the textbook systematically and comprehensively in the process of Chinese teaching, and pay more attention to increase students' literature quality and thinking connotation according to the requirements of New Curriculum Reform. In the chapter four, the author thinks that however the times changes, the value of spiritual connotation which classical works inherit is eternal. Therefore, Chinese education of middle school can not weaken spiritual education. Teachers should guide students to study classical works with more humanized methods.
